BREAKTHROUGH CANCER PAIN KPI AND DFU
A highly sensitive study following the launch of a new BTCP (Breakthrough Cancer Pain) product and subsequent growth in awareness and usage.
The study comprised an initial DFU study – conducting 50 thirty minute depth interviews with GPs and Oncologists (both prescribers and non-prescribers) in each of: UK, Germany, Denmark, Netherlands, Ireland and Sweden. The fieldwork was staggered to coincide with the launch of the new breakthrough cancer pain treatment in the various countries.
We completed an initial DFU wave and continued with a program of KPI studies to track the performance of the product after launch, tracking both prescribing habits, key messages and beliefs about the product.
CELL THERAPY RESEARCH
A study profiling and recruiting interventional cardiologists and interventional cardiac surgeons for a client who wanted to better understand the cardiac cell therapy marketplace and the needs of leading cath lab institutes for solutions in this area.
The primary objective of this piece of research was to understand the current market landscape surrounding cardiac cell therapy research and to assess the potential for a new solution. The audience consisted of cardiology specialists who currently performed cardiac cell therapy procedures or were planning to perform them in the next 12 months to 2 years.
We were responsible for recruiting and scheduling the (1 hour) interview slots for the client to conduct F2F interviews in the UK and USA, and for recruiting and interviewing in Japan. In addition we created a webpage for uploading of stimulus materials (with links automatically sent via CATI, with password protected access so that the respondents could refer to them only during the interview).
GLOBAL HEALTHCARE
A global project on behalf of a major consultancy firm, where we conducted 350 interviews across North and South America, Europe, and Asia (incl. India and Oceania), talking to Government Officials, Private Employers, senior Hospital Managers and senior executives in the biopharmaceutical and biotechnology sector.
Topic areas covered included views on the state of the current healthcare system in the various countries, key influence factors and barriers to managing health, how to engage individuals and change their health behavior, and changes faced by countries’ healthcare system in the future. The interview was 25 minutes long.
BLOOD GLUCOSE METER TRACKING STUDY
A 15 minute, twice-yearly tracking study talking to Diabetologists, Specialist Diabetes Nurses and GP about which blood glucose meters (BGMs) they offer to patients most frequently and why.
Each wave consists of 810 interviews across 20 countries: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Poland, Turkey, Croatia, Poland, Turkey, UK, Russia, Slovenia and South Africa. All interviewing was conducted centrally by specialist native language speakers.

PHARMA BRAND AWARENESS
Two waves of a Pan-European study gauging the brand awareness of our client, a pharmaceutical company. All respondents were government decision makers and policy influencers on health issues in Europe. For the purpose of this study we interviewed 150 respondents in each wave, including MPs and MEPs, Journalists, CEO of health authority, healthcare professional, heads of NGOs and European Patients Associations. Interviewing was conducted in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.
GLOBAL BIOTECHNOLOGY STUDY
A global project on behalf of major consultancy firm, where we conducted 350 twenty five minute interviews across North and South America, Europe, Asia incl. India and Oceania, talking to Government Officials, Private Employers, Hospital Executives and senior executives in the biopharmaceutical and biotechnology sector. Topic areas covered included views on the state of the current healthcare systems, key influencers and barriers to managing health, how to change individual health behaviour and how to tackle changes faced by countries’ healthcare system in the future.
